September 2025

Hey ATCO Kids Families!
Here's a look at what we're covering with your kids this month so that you can continue growing at home during the week.
Week 1
BIG IDEA:
God’s words are always in season.
BIBLE:
Psalm 1; Mark 13:28–31
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
From Christmas lights to summer pool days, every season has something unique and special about it. This week, we'll hear how the Psalms describe the unique characteristics of those who follow God closely. From these words, we'll discover that God's words are always in season, offering us guidance and wisdom whether the sun is shining or the snow is falling.

Week 2
BIG IDEA:
God leads us in every season.
BIBLE:
Psalm 23; Luke 15:1–7
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
Fall is a time of crunchy leaves, pumpkin patches, and a bit more darkness as the days get shorter. This week, we'll explore a psalm from David that helps us see how God stays near us even in the dark. No matter what seasons of life we experience—the bright or the dark—David's words remind us how God leads us in every season.
Week 3
BIG IDEA:
God hears us no matter the season.
BIBLE:
Psalm 51; 1 Timothy 2:1–7
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
When the winter snow falls, the world can feel so still and quiet that you feel like you can hear for miles. This week, we'll hear how David wrote a psalm, asking for forgiveness, knowing God was listening. His prayer helps us know that God hears us no matter the season, whether we're asking for forgiveness, giving thanks, or just sharing what's on our minds.
Week 4
BIG IDEA:
We can thank God for every season.
BIBLE:
Psalm 100; 1 Timothy 6:6–16
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
From snow-packed winters to cluttered closets, spring is a time for clearing out the old to make space for something new. This week, we'll explore a psalm that invites us to make space to show our gratitude to God. These words help remind us that we can thank God for every season because it's not about our circumstances—it's about who God is.
October 2025

Hey ATCO Kids Families!
Here's a look at what we're covering with your kids this month so that you can continue growing at home during the week.
Week 1
BIG IDEA:
God helps us choose wisely.
BIBLE:
 Daniel 1; 2 Timothy 1:7–14
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
Whether it's a card, a number, or a cup, some of the best illusions ask us to make difficult choices. This week, we'll hear about a difficult choice Daniel and his friends needed to make: to listen to God or follow a king's command. Their trust in God throughout this incredible story reminds us that when we face difficult decisions, God helps us choose wisely.
Week 2
BIG IDEA:
God is ready to rescue us.
BIBLE:
 Daniel 3; 2 Timothy 2:8–15
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
Some of the most memorable illusions amaze us with impossible escapes that we just can't understand. This week, we'll hear how God rescued Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from a fiery furnace—and it wasn't an illusion. Their incredible story reminds us that when we need help facing the challenges in our lives, God is ready to rescue us.
Week 3
BIG IDEA:
God’s words show us what to do.
BIBLE:
 Daniel 5; 2 Timothy 3:14–4:5
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
Illusions are designed to be mysterious, and illusionists swear never to reveal their secrets. This week, we'll hear how Daniel used the wisdom God gave him to reveal the meaning behind some mysterious writing. By uncovering what no one else could, Daniel's story helps us see how God's words show us what to do and help guide us through every challenge we face.
Week 4
BIG IDEA:
Our courage can help others see God.
BIBLE:
 Daniel 6; 2 Timothy 4:6–8, 16–18
ABOUT THIS WEEK:
Every illusion takes courage, whether trusting an assistant with a saw or performing in front of a crowd. This week, we'll hear about the time Daniel showed courage by praying to God, even though he knew it would put him in danger. His bravery revealed God's power to the whole kingdom and helps remind us that our courage can help others see God.
